Nordic Shorts presents short films from Sweden, Norway and Finland. Five fiction films and one documentary from the competitions of the biggest international festivals like Cannes and Venice, Berlinale and Sundance, Locarno and Toronto.

A woman in a tattered wedding gown wakes in the forest to the sound of a deafening car horn. She finds her husband in the crashed car nearby. He’s in bad shape but alive. In the wrecked interior, they start to talk about their relationship, which soon seems to be as demolished as their Saab.

After many years lived in France, Juho and Anna go back to Finland to visit their sick father. Juho dreads this journey, he’s been separated from his father for 15 years and he doesn’t feel like seeing him again. He is afraid of what, or whom, he’s going to find.
